Our daughter Kaylin, a WORM?

A STAR IS BORN... Kaylin was in the Middle School Play that performed on March 8th and 9th.  It was a joy to see Kaylin find a new activity that she LOVED being a part of at B.F.A.
I asked her to give our "blog" readers a description about her experience in the play.

The middle school play was directed by Alison Stroud, with the help of a few other teachers and high school students. The very funny play was called "Alvin Fernald Mayor For A Day".  The play was about a bunch of middle school students that got to run a town for a day. The main character Alvin Fernald was played by 8th grader David Detwiler. His little sister "The Pest" or "Daphne Fernald" was played by Lucy Welterland. The Mayor was Hutson Cruise, a seventh grader from my class, and his secretary "Irene Carner" was played by a eighth grade girl, Kara Jones. "Speedy Glomitz" was Alvin's political advisor.  There were 12 kids in all, but those are the major ones. I served as Alvin's Chief of Police.  My name was "Worm Wormley."  It was hard work, but it was very fun.
We performed two nights, a Friday night and Saturday afternoon. The whole team did a great job, and we wouldn't have been able to perform without the crew!  It was a great performance!  I liked that our cast became good friends even though we were in three different grades.  I miss going to practice every day.
