Our Autumn weekends in Germany have been sweet
(and I am not just saying that because we were able to eat gelatto at the Eis Cafe)!
Here are a few highlights of our last four weekends:
1. Drove around our area and took pictures of the beautiful autumn views.
2. Enjoyed a fall party with friends at the "Grillplatz" (a beautiful location by the forest).
3. Made sure to have a "last ice cream cone for the season" at the Eis Cafe in town.
4. The kids "survived" having family pictures taken around town on a gorgeous, sunny day.
5. The very next Saturday they thoroughly enjoyed watching a few inches of snow fall (glad we had taken family pictures the week before!)
6. Traveled by train for a day to enjoy Lake Constance as a family. The lake and history of the town (Konstanz) was wonderful. Lauren said her favorite part was playing cards on the train ride and Kaylin said it was having a cheeseburger from McDonalds.
(Maybe they will remember the amazing city and lake views later in life, or not. Smile)
We are so thankful that the Lord has provided such sweet memories this fall for our family. During the week we all work so hard to do the work the Creator has given us the blessing of having a part of here. We are so thankful that on the weekends we have been able to see the handiwork of the Creator as well!
